Which BRP Can-Am models does this rear bumper fit?

The bumper is designed specifically for the 2024–2026 BRP Can-Am Maverick R and has been test-fitted on this model.

The design may also be compatible with the four-seat Maverick R MAX, but that fitment has not yet been tested, so compatibility with the R MAX cannot currently be confirmed.

Is the bumper compatible with the factory Can-Am Maverick R exhaust system?

Yes. The BMS heavy duty rear bumper is designed to work with the factory exhaust system and does not interfere with its operation.

No exhaust relocation or modification is required during installation, and the factory components remain in their original positions.

How much protection does the rear bumper provide in a strong rear impact?

Does the BMS rear bumper increase the rear overhang of the Maverick R?

Not at all. The shape of the aftermarket rear bumper is designed to avoid adding unnecessary overhang behind the Maverick R.

This helps preserve clearance when dropping off obstacles or backing up steep terrain, so the bumper does not become an additional limitation during off-road driving.

Can I mount auxiliary lights on this rear bumper?

Yes. Auxiliary lights can be mounted to the bumper tube using dedicated tube light brackets available from BMS Engineering.
