See more of the trail, react earlier, and keep driving with confidence after dark.
The BRP Maverick R is built for terrain where the direction, surface, and obstacles can change fast. A single forward-facing beam does not always give you the coverage you need. Adding auxiliary lights near the windshield pillars lets you put extra light exactly where it helps most – straight ahead, out to the sides, or at an angle to cover turns and trail edges.
BMS Engineering A-Pillar ditch light brackets place compact LED lights near the base of the windshield pillars, a familiar mounting position for off-road lighting. The brackets are designed specifically for the Can-Am Maverick R and install using the vehicle’s original bolts. No drilling or body modifications are required.
The light direction can be adjusted to match the route. Aim your ditch lights outward for wider side coverage, change the vertical angle using the light’s own mounting bracket, or point them farther ahead when you need additional forward visibility. Properly aimed LED lights help you spot turns, terrain changes, rocks, ruts, and other obstacles sooner, giving you more time to react and helping reduce fatigue during long drives at dusk or after dark.
BMS brackets do not lock you into one specific light model. You can choose compatible bottom-mount LED pods based on the beam pattern, output, and type of riding you prefer. That makes it easier to build an off-road lighting setup around your own needs instead of adapting your driving to a fixed configuration.
Darkness should not decide when the ride is over. Add BMS Engineering A-Pillar light mounts to your BRP Maverick R, aim the auxiliary lights for your route, and keep using the full capability of your Can-Am Maverick R long after the sun goes down.

FAQ
What LED lights can I use with these brackets?
The brackets are designed for compact bottom-mount LED lights, such as the RIGID D-SS Pro. BMS Engineering does not limit the setup to one specific light model, so you can choose your auxiliary lights based on size, beam pattern, and the type of riding you do. Only unusually large light housings may require an extra clearance check before installation.
Will the lights interfere with the doors on the BRP Maverick R?
No. The doors on the BRP Maverick R swing rearward without crossing the area occupied by the brackets or the mounted lights, so normal door operation is retained.
Do I need to remove the side trim panels to install the brackets?
No. You only need to pull the trim back slightly to reach the original bolts at the base of the windshield pillars. Loosen the bolts about 1 cm with an open-end or box-end wrench – there is no need to remove them completely. The BMS A-Pillar light mounts are shaped so they can slide under the loosened hardware, after which the bolts are tightened back down.
Do I need a separate wiring harness for the auxiliary lights?
Yes. The kit includes the brackets only. The lights and wiring are purchased separately, giving you the freedom to choose the LED setup and switching method that work best for your Can-Am Maverick R.
Can I use these brackets with a windshield?
Yes. The brackets are compatible with the original BRP windshield and do not interfere with its installation or normal use, including when the windshield is added later. If you plan to run unusually large ditch lights, check the light dimensions and available clearance first.
Will the mounted lights block the driver’s view?
No. The lights sit low at the base of the windshield pillars, outside the driver’s main forward field of view. Properly sized LED pods should not interfere with normal visibility from the driver’s seat.
Do the brackets block access to the fuel filler or washer-fluid reservoir?
No. Normal access to both the fuel filler and washer-fluid reservoir remains available after installation. The brackets use the existing mounting points near the base of the windshield pillars and do not prevent you from opening or using the surrounding service areas.
