Running Boards BMS URBAN for Ford Ranger 2022-2026 (set)
Give your Ford Ranger Raptor a proper step for daily use and a frame-mounted barrier for the lower body. BMS URBAN steel rock sliders make the high cab easier to access while adding the kind of side protection that matches the truck’s off-road character.
The Ranger Raptor is built to feel capable beyond clean pavement, but that same height can be inconvenient in normal use. Getting behind the wheel, stepping out after a muddy road, or reaching into the cab is simply easier when your foot has a stable place to land.
BMS URBAN is not a dress-up running board. The steel structure ties into the frame, so when the side of the truck meets a rut, a ledge, uneven ground, or low-speed side contact, the slider is there to take the first hit before the rocker area does.
These rock sliders are made specifically for the Ford Ranger Raptor and install without modifying the truck. There is no need to drill or cut the frame or body, and the required mounting hardware is included.
For a Ranger Raptor that sees more than clean pavement, BMS URBAN adds the kind of step and side protection that fits the truck’s character: practical in daily driving, useful off road, and tough enough to make sense on a real performance pickup.

FAQ
Why does an off-road truck need rock sliders?
Rock sliders protect the lower side of the vehicle in places where regular running boards work only as a step. BMS URBAN sliders mount to the frame, so contact loads are directed into the stronger structure of the truck instead of the outer body panels.
For the Ford Ranger Raptor, that makes sense. This truck is built to be driven actively, and the rocker area needs protection just as much as the cab needs a usable step.
How are rock sliders different from regular running boards?
Regular running boards are mainly made for easier entry. BMS URBAN rock sliders are built as a protective steel part: they tie into the frame and can take part of the impact during low-speed side contact or when the lower side of the truck meets rough terrain.
They are not magic armor. A hard enough hit can still damage the sliders, the frame, or the body, but they give the truck a much stronger first line of protection than decorative side steps.
Will these sliders catch on ruts or uneven ground?
In normal off-road use, BMS URBAN sliders do not reduce ground clearance or make the Ranger Raptor less capable. They sit along the lower side of the body and work as protection when the terrain gets close to the truck.
If the lower side touches an obstacle, the slider is there to take the hit before the rocker area does. You still need to choose your line with the truck’s size, weight, and approach angle in mind.
Can I use BMS URBAN as everyday side steps?
Yes. BMS URBAN rock sliders are strong enough for protection, but they are also practical as daily side steps. They make it easier to climb into the high cab, step out of the truck, or reach into the bed.
So you are not choosing between comfort and protection. You get a steel frame-mounted slider that still works as a useful step in normal driving.
Do I need to modify the truck for installation?
No. BMS URBAN sliders install without drilling the frame, cutting the body, or modifying the mounting points.
The required hardware is included, so the kit is designed as a vehicle-specific bolt-on upgrade rather than a universal part that has to be adapted on the spot.
Will they work with a suspension lift and larger tires?
Yes. A suspension lift and larger tires do not interfere with the installation in normal setups. The sliders stay within the side profile of the body and do not enter the wheel wells.
A body lift is different. These sliders mount to the frame, so if the body is lifted separately, the sliders will remain at the original frame height. Body-lift compatibility should be checked for the exact setup.
Can I lift the Ranger Raptor with a Hi-Lift jack on these sliders?
Only as an emergency recovery option, and only as close to the slider mounts as possible. Lifting from a side slider is not a normal service procedure.
Hi-Lift jack use can be dangerous and requires experience, stable ground, and proper recovery technique. For regular maintenance, tire changes, or shop work, always use the factory-approved jacking points.
