Does installing the BMS MOLLE system require drilling?

Yes. The BMS060184 panels mount directly to the truck bed, so installation requires drilling the necessary mounting holes. The required mounting hardware is included with the kit.

Will these module panels fit a RAM 1500 equipped with RamBox?

No. This MOLLE panel kit is not designed for RAM 1500 trucks with the RamBox system. The integrated bedside storage compartments change the bed configuration and occupy the same area where the MOLLE panels would normally be installed.

For RAM 1500 trucks with RamBox, BMS also offers a frame-style bed canopy that is commonly used to mount and organize equipment along the sides.

Can I keep my tonneau cover or retractable bed cover with these panels installed?

Yes. The BMS truck bed MOLLE system can be used together with a tonneau cover or retractable bed cover, so you can keep the cargo area covered while adding organized storage along the bed walls.

With an electric retractable cover, however, the drive unit will partially restrict access to the front MOLLE panel. Keep this in mind when planning the overall bed setup.

Do standard MOLLE pouches and accessories fit these panels?

Yes. The BMS panels use 38 × 29 mm slots that work with standard MOLLE pouches attached with webbing straps, as well as other compatible accessories.
