Adjustable Rear Panhard Bar for Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2008-2017
Keep your Pajero Sport controlled after a suspension lift.
A lift kit helps the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport II gain extra clearance for larger tires, rough roads, gravel tracks, and off-road driving. But when the ride height changes, the factory fixed-length track bar may no longer keep the rear axle centered in relation to the body.
The TAIKO rear adjustable Panhard bar is designed to correct this side shift after suspension modifications. By adjusting the bar length, the installer can set the rear axle position more accurately for the new suspension height.
This matters not only off-road. If the vehicle is regularly driven on highways, rural roads, or long-distance routes, the suspension should remain predictable and stable under different loads. A lifted SUV needs more than extra ground clearance – it also needs correct rear axle alignment.
For Mitsubishi Pajero Sport II suspension tuning, an adjustable track bar helps complete the setup after installing taller springs, upgraded shocks, reinforced suspension components, or larger wheels. It allows the rear suspension to work in a more correct position instead of leaving the axle shifted to one side.
The TAIKO Panhard bar is a practical upgrade for Pajero Sport owners who want a properly adjusted lifted suspension and a more confident vehicle both on paved roads and beyond them.

FAQ
Will this Panhard bar fit the Pajero Sport II?
Yes. This rear Panhard bar is designed for the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2008–2017 second generation.
It replaces the factory part, installs into the original mounting points, and uses the factory bolts. If the original mounts are in good condition, no vehicle modifications are required.
What suspension lift height is this track bar designed for?
The TAIKO Panhard bar is designed for suspension lifts up to 4 inches.
This adjustment range is suitable for most common Pajero Sport II lift setups with increased ground clearance and larger tires.
Can it be used with a lift higher than 4 inches?
Fitment with a higher lift must be checked individually.
At that point, compatibility depends not only on bar length, but also on mounting geometry, joint operating angles, and the full rear suspension configuration.
At what lift height do I need an adjustable Panhard bar?
It is better to check the rear axle position after the suspension has been modified, rather than judge by lift height alone.
If the rear axle shifts sideways after installing springs, spacers, or a lift kit, the TAIKO adjustable Panhard bar allows the installer to re-center it. Installing it together with the lift is usually the smarter approach, because the suspension can be adjusted properly during the same service visit.
How is the Panhard bar length adjusted?
The length is changed through a threaded design and secured with a lock nut.
During setup, one end of the Panhard rod must be free. The installer adjusts the length, sets the rear axle position, and then tightens the lock nut so the bar keeps the selected length.
Why is threaded adjustment considered more reliable?
With this design, the Panhard bar length can only be changed when one end is disconnected from the suspension. It is not intended for constant on-vehicle turning like a sleeve-style adjuster.
This makes the setup less convenient during adjustment, but more secure in use. Once properly tightened, the bar has very little chance of loosening by itself, which is important for off-road driving where the suspension is exposed to vibration and repeated impacts.
